Forio - How long till somebody produces a search engine for games?
To be honest, it's nightmarishly complicated. The help files are useless. The 'drag-n-drop' functionality was, as far as I could see, entirely absent.
Yet, yet, yet this is interesting.
A couple of weeks ago, I spent an hour or so looking for a decent explanation of The Bullwhip Effect. Because I think it's something that Training Departments (and HR people writing policy manuals) fall victim to. It's not just a manufacturing problem.
And here's a game (based on the famous Beer Game) which does just that:
It's not ready for prime-time. But it's another example of how the vernacular materials of the web are changing. Texty stuff is beginning to have to take a back seat to the filmmakers at Demand Media. How long before we have a game search engine?
